PerSwayed's new intro song is fast paced and an enthusiastic anthem about themselves, about the world of possibilities, about the benefits of being happy, and apparently can be played at a number of paces... "yeah, it's a good opening song because sometimes we come out on stage overly excited and play too fast and this song can handle the pace (rich, 05)". A fun song, but a bit of a shocker because it doesn't let up... about 4 minutes of fast paced announcement, Top of the World says here we are, we're real and in the now and we've come to play... "PS is the abbreviation, remember that when we're rocking the nation".

In today's world, exposure = value and PerSwayed's approach here is to give us a song that is a type of self-press announcement. This song resonates true with one of PerSwayed's primary themes; namely, media creates fame, fame is exposure and exposure = value for good or for bad, but meanwhile, truth can carry on seemingly without an audience and that doesn't really matter because it feels like there is no audience in art. Still, there is more than meets the eye in these lyrics... it hints to PerSwayed's other primary themes asking the question, how can we be top of the world, truly happy, when everything seems split apart? Before PerSwayed delves further into this theme, The PerSwayed Show gives us "Better Job" showing that as much as they complain, they also have their eye on solutions, ideas, age old truths, to love is to serve, etc. (
